The South Bristol Vintage Combat Team has six keen pilots who regularly take part in competitions across the country during the summer months.

All team members also belong to the newly formed Combat Flyers Association(CFA)
which aims to promote and further the sport within the UK

 

Aeromodelling T Shirts

Club member Richard Evans can produce Tee shirts and hooded sweat shirts.
Medium and large Charcoal Grey Hooded S/Shirts that can be printed with
the SBMAC logo if required.  They'll cost £12.00 each. A good colour!

Also just printed up is the orange 60/70s Oliver logo on
white and pale Grey T/Shirts. These will also have the rear print as
described above. The T/Shirts are available in most sizes and cost £7.50
each. The same print is available on S/Shirts at £15.00.
These would be on top quality navy Tees and have the illustration of the
four Olivers on the back.(Text says "50 years of the Oliver Tiger")

Club Shop. 

We stock various items for control line and sell it at cost price.
Control line wire
    0.33mm and 0.4mm brass stranded "SuperLine"
    Single strand wire for team race and speed.

Fuel Ingredients
    Castor oil, Ether and IPN

Transfers
Club water slide transfers of the normal "Bridge" and "50 Years" version.

 

Reminders for flying at Berkeley

All club members and club guests are required to pay £2-00 per person per visit or to be a member of the social club.  We fly at the site as a sport section of the social club.
Flying is once a month, normally on the weekend following the Club night.
Keep the noise level from engine running to a minimum (around 5 minutes with a 10 minute break between runs)
Fly safely  -  always mark a center circle or spot.
Make sure you have helpers around when flying in case of inquisitive visitors or passers by.
Pay special attention to who is using the other facilities such as the football nets, tennis courts or play areas.  
Seek assistance when starting / running large engines.
